Faithdean Reconstruction Services will comply with its legal duties in order to provide a safe and healthy working environment for its employees and others affected by the company's activities.  It will take positive action to ensure that other contractors' employees, occupiers of premises, and members of the public do not have their health and safety adversely affected by the work operations of the company.  Where it is possible and practical to do so the company will exceed the minimum requirements of current legislation. We will seek to ensure that companies with whom we contract or sub-contract have a similar high standard.

The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 came into force in April 2007 and will apply to this proposed project.

These regulations impose statutory duties on Clients, Designers, Planning Supervisors and Contractors with a specific aim of improving the health and safety conditions for people in the construction industry.

Faithdean Reconstruction Services Ltd is fully committed to ensuring the health and safety of their employees, the sub-contractors employees and whoever else visits the site.

Faithdean Reconstruction Services Ltd does have a Health and Safety Policy.

The Policy conforms with the CDM regulations.

Our own internal Health and Safety Team, led by Mr Adrian Dixon, will regularly attend site to inspect all aspects of our working procedures.  His comments will be acted upon immediately.

We would co-operate fully with the Planning Supervisor in the preparation of a Health and Safety Plan.

Faithdean Reconstruction Services Ltd do have risk assessments and method statements for work they undertake.

Accident statistics are highlighted in our Safety Policy.

Faithdean Reconstruction Services Ltd is also a CHAS Accredited Contractor and as part of Faithdean Plc is also Constructionline and SafeContractor compliant.
